Basic Information Name: Harry James Potter Gender: Male House: Gryffindor Year: 7 Quidditch: Captain and Seeker Sexual Orientation: Hetrosexual Wizarding Blood Type: Halfblood. Friends: Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are his best friends, but he is also quite good friends with Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood. He has quite alot of friends from 1) being 'The Boy Who Lived' 2) From Quidditch and 3) From DA Enemies: Draco Malfoy and all his (evil) Slytherin Friends. Oh, and Voldermort, but that goes without saying.
What He Looks Like & How He Acts Personality: Unlike what most other Hogwarts students think, Harry doesn't like being famous, although sometimes his fame sometimes works to his advantage as he can get away with almost anything. He hates the constant attention and woud like to be normal. At the same time, he likes to be the hero, and would do anything to kill Voldermort and save his friends. He also tries to be very noble. He will put aside his wants and feelings if he thinks it'll benefit someone else.
Harry also has abit of a temper and angers easily. He hates when people try to risk their lives for him, or question him or think that somethings wrong with him. He also hates being left out. He likes to know what's going on all day, every day.
Appearance: Harry Potter has been told he looks alot like his father, James Potter, with his extremely messy, black hair, that never lies flat, no matter what he does to it. His eyes, however, are stunning emerald green, like his Mother, Lily Evans/Potter. He is short and thin and wears round glasses. Most people from the wizarding world know him by his scar, which is lightning shape and on his forhead.
History: When Harry was only one year old, VOldermort came into his house in Godric's Hollow and attacked his mother and father. They bothe died, but Harry survived, because of his mother's love for him. He was taken to life with his only relatives, Uncle Vernon, Ant Petunia and his cousin Dudley, all muggles. Vernon and Petunia wanted nothing to do with the wizarding world so they told Harry nothing about it, and even tried to stop him from getting his Hogwarts letter.
He eventually got hold of one of the many Hogwarts letters he was sent, when Rubeus Hagrid, Gameskeeper at Hogwarts, came to the little shack the Vernon had taken them too. Hagrid then told Harry the truth about himself and then took him off to go shopping for school supllies and finally start School at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
During Harry's first year at Hogwarts he managed to befriend Ron and hermione (Hermione thanks to a troll being let into the school by one of the proffesor on Halloween) make quite a few Slytherin enemies (Slytherin teachers included) and was the first first year in over a century to make the quidditch team. Throughout the whole of that year, Hermione, HGarry and Ron, who were now known as the trio, tried to work out what FLuffy, the three headed dog, was gaurding. Near the end of the year, they finally worked out he was gaurding the Philosiphers Stone, and thought that Proffessor Snape was going to steal it. So the trio went after 'Snape' to save the stone. They had to overcome many obstacles to do this, Ron's great strategic thinking and chess skills, Hermione's brians and the fact that she actually payed attention in class and harry's quidditch skills all coming in handy. In the end, Harry had to face 'Snape' alone, as Ron had been knocked out, and Harry told her to help him and to send an owl to DUmbledore, who was out of the school at the time.
It turned out that It wasn't actually Snape, but Proffessor Quirrel, trying to steal the Philosophers stone. Quirrel had been trying to steal the ston, so that his 'master', Voldermort, who had been living on the back of Quirrel's head, could gain his own body. Harry managed to kill Quirrel but Voldermort escaped.
In Harry's second year, Ron's little siter, Ginny Weasley, came to the school. Ginny had come into possesion of a diary, belonging to Tom Riddle, and had become possesed by Voldermort. While possesed, Ginny opened the chamber of secrets, then was taken in there. With the information Hermione had given them, Harry, Ron and their Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Gildroy Lockhart, found the entrance to the chamber and began their search for Ginny. Unfortuantely, due to a backfiring spell, Lockheart lost his memory completely and a few rocks fell down, seperating Harry from Ron and Lockhart.
So Harry went on to find Ginny and rescue her alone (Aww...How sweet and romantic :D). He eventually found her, half dead on the ground. Tom Riddle then appeared, and told Harry there was no hope, that Ginny was going to die, and that as she got weaker, he got stronger. He explained what had happened with his diary and told Harry that he was Voldermort. Then he released the Basilisk on Harry. Harry had no way of defending himself, until Fawkes, Dumbledores' Pheonix, came to him, and gave him the srtong hat, then peckwed out the Basilisk's eyes. From the hat, Harry pulled out a sword and ended up stabbing the Baslilisk throught the mouth and killing him. Unfortunately, before he did this, he managed to get one of the Baslisk's teeth stuck in him. Just as Harry was about to die, Fawkes came and cried onto his injury, healing it. Harry, Ginny, Ron and Lockhart managed to get out of the chamber safely and then not much happened until Harry's next year...
Before school even started for Harry's third year, he managed to get into trouble by accidently blowing up his 'aunt'. Because of this he had to run away from his aunt and uncles place. While he was running away he was sstartled by a large black dog, tripped over and flagged down the Knight Bus. On the knight bus he learnt about Sirius Black, and escaped murderer, who he later learned was his godfather. Hagrid became Care Of Magical Creatures twacher and during his first lesson, his creature, Buckbeak the Hippogriff, attacked Malfoy. Malfoy's father then wanted the creature killed, and got his way. On the way back from visiting Hagrid, just before the execution, a large black dog grabbed Ron by the legged and dragged him under the whomping willow. Harry and Hermione followed after him and they found themselves in the Shrieking Shack, where they found not only Ron, but Sirius Black too (Dun dun dun!).
Of course, Sirius Black turns out to not be a murderer, and a Ron's rat, Scabbers (who is actually Peter Pettigrew) is. So the seven of them (Snape and Lupin joined them) headed back to the castle. Unfortunately it was a full moon, so Lupin turned into a werewolf and Peter escaped. So Black was taken to the castle to be given the dementors kiss.
So Hermione and Harry (Ron was injured) went back in time, and managed to save both Buckbeak's and Sirius' lives. However, since Sirius' name wasn't cleared, he had to run away, much to Harry's disappointment.
Harry's fourth year was very different from the last three. The Twiwizard Tourament was being held at Hogwarts, and Hogwarts ended up with two champions, one being Harry.
Harry managed to complete the first task pretty easily, with the help of a summoning spell and his firebolt. The second task he found more difficult, but still gained many points as being his noble self, he wated to save more than his own hostage. The third rask took him and Cedric Diggory to a graveyard, where Cedric died, Voldermort came back and Harry and him faced again.
The next year him and Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna and Neville all wound up in the Department of Mysteries, being attacked by death eaters, because of a dream Harry had. Unfortuantely, this dream was a plan of VOldermorts, to lure him into the Department of Mysteries. Sirius Black, Harry's god father, died while trying to help the trio plus Luna, Neville and Ginny. The prophecy that Voldermort had been trying to get was destroyed, but Dumbledore knew what te prophecy was, and so told Harry. It turned out that Harry had to kill voldermort or VOldermort had to kill Harry, as neither could survive while the other lived.
In Harry's sixth year, he learnt about Horcruxes. Apparently, Voldermort split his soul into 7 pieces and made 7 horcruxes. After a Horcrux search with Dumbledore, the castle was attacked and a weakened Dumbledore was murdered. Harry is now determined to find the remaining Horcruxes.
1st Person Sample Rp: ‘Tap Tap Tap. Tap Tap Tap’ came a rather annoying sound of an owl tapping his beak against the window. Groaning, I rolled out of bed, placed my glasses back on my face and opened the window for the owl. I recognized the owl to be carrying The Daily Prophet, so I paid it and watched it fly away as I unfolded the paper. I groaned again, as I read the front page headline ‘The Chosen One’s Great adventure.’ I skimmed through the article. It seemed to detail what they thought I’d done on my trip out of the school with Dumbledore. As usual, it was all incorrect. I sighed and turned the page, reading about all the latest attacks, deaths and disappearances, hoping to find some clues. Clues about the whereabouts of Voldermort, the whereabouts of the remaining horcruxes, clues about the horcruxes in general and the identity of R.A.B. Unfortunately, reading the Prophet did not help me with any of these things. I folded up the paper again, and placed it back on my bedside table, next to the Hogwarts letter I’d received a few days earlier. I was still indecisive about going back to Hogwarts, but at the moment, I seemed to be leaning more towards not going back. The fate of the Wizarding world was more important than a good education.
3rd Person Sample RP: (This was my intro for a plot involving a masked ball and Ginny and Dean getting back together.) There were so many times Harry wished he wasn't burdened with having to save the wizarding world from Voldermort. So many times when he thought it would've probably been better if he'd died on that night. Of these times, the most recent was probably during Dumbledore's funeral. Sure, even if he had died when Voldermort attacked him that night, Dumbledore probably still would've died, but Harry wouldn't have had to have witnessed it. And if he'd died, then he would've never fallen in love. And if he'd never fallen in love, then he'd never had to break the person he loved's heart. Or his own heart either.
But he had lived, he had witnessed Dumbledore's death, he had fallen in love, and he had broken his and hers heart.
Well, he wasn't so sure about the her's part. His heart was defiently broken, but Ginny's seemed just fine. She had moved on. Or moved backwards. Back to Dean.
Dean. Why Dean? Walking in on them in that corridor had been dreadful that day, but it had made Harry realise how much he loved Ginny. Then finally Dean and Ginny had broken up, and Ginny had been his! But Ginny was no longer his. And it was his entire fault. Which is why he wished he'd died that night, sixteen years ago.
Harry sighed and ran his hand through his messy black hair, messing it up further. He picked his mask off his bed and studied it. What was the point of wearing a mask anyway? Wouldn't you be able to recognise everyone anyway? His hair would certainly give him away. Maybe he would've been looking forward to this ball more if he had been going with Ginny. But he wasn't. No. he was going with Romilda Vane. His /girlfriend/. He hated calling her that. It was so unnatural. So not like how it had been with Ginny. But if Ginny could move on, then so could he. He looked in the mirror quickly, before heading downstairs, to the common room. The common room was a hopefully safe place to stay until the ball. He didn't want to run into Ginny or Dean or Romilda any earlier than necessary.
Harry sunk down into an armchair and stared at the fireplace, his mind drifting off into thoughts of Ginny.
