Finally finished all the part ones. Yay!
- How would you describe your childhood in general? Generally it was really good! I grew up in Hampshire (Portsmouth) so I got to go to the beach pretty often which was a great thing. We also went to Scotland quite a bit to visit dad’s side of the family and I really loved that too. I guess I was kind of spoilt as a child. Not really badly but I did get most things that I wanted. So I would describe my childhood as fun and really good.
- What is your earliest memory? It’s hard to work out the chronology of memories from really early childhood because the memories aren’t that clear but I think my earliest memory is of playing in the garden and deciding to try and weed the garden when I was three or four. I would only pull the leaves off and then leave the roots behind so I wasn’t very good at it. I probably do have an earlier memory but sometimes it’s hard to remember some things unless something triggers a particular memory I find.
- How much schooling have you had? I had some tutoring before I started school and then I went to Hogwarts and got my OWLs and NEWTs.
- Did you enjoy school? Yes! Sometimes the actual working part wasn’t too great but it was fun because you got to spend most of the year living with your friends. It was hardly ever boring either and mostly classes were alright.
- Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? Hogwarts.
- While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. Not really. There were people whom I admired aspects of but no one who I looked up to more than anyone else. I think it’s important to be who you are, not base who you are on someone you admire, no matter how great they are.
- While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? It was only mum, dad and myself and mostly we got along well. We had our disagreements here and there though. Dad always spoilt me more than mum did but mum was always the one I could go to if I had any problems. It’s still the same way now. I’m grateful that as an only child I got the opportunity to be pretty close with my parents. They are still my parents though and sometimes they are annoying.
- As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I had absolutely no idea. There were lots of jobs that sounded okay but I could never decide what I wanted to be.
- As a child, what were your favorite activities? Going to the beach! Because there was lots of fun stuff to do there, like build sandcastles or go swimming and things like that. It’s still one of my favourite activities although the building sandcastles part happens less often now.
- As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? I usually enjoyed my tutoring sessions so I guess like for learning was there. Kindness too, I think because I’ve never enjoyed being mean to people or seeing people upset or anything like that.
- As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? I think I was reasonably popular. I didn’t not have friends. My main friends were just any kids in the area or sometimes I’d just meet people at the beach and start spending time with them. Then I was friends with my grandparent’s neighbour’s kids over in
- When and with whom was your first kiss? It was while we were spending Christmas Holidays in
- Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? No. I lost it to the aforementioned Lachlann but not until a while after our first kiss. It was the summer between my 6th and 7th year. He’d already finished and we hadn’t seen each other in a while Anyway, we sort of dated for the summer and eventually I slept with him. We ended things when I had to go back to school though and I’ve only seen him a few times since then.
- If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today. I’m a witch and coming from a pureblood family I grew up knowing I was a witch so I don’t really have any interesting stories regarding how I discovered this. Sometimes I think maybe it would have been cool to be a muggle born because finding out you could do magic would be so surprising! I did like always knowing though and am glad I did grow up knowing I would go to Hogwarts eventually.
