Do you think there are dentists in the wizarding world? I know Hermione's parents are dentists but aside from that they're never mentioned. But  (from memory) Ron seems to know what a dentist is when Hermione tells them they're dentists. But then, Hermione gets her teeth fixed by Pomfry. But that's just reducing the teeth, not fixing stuff like cavities etc. And if they do have dentists, where do they become dentists? Is there like a special dentist training division of Mungos? (Sara Vaisey may want to be a dentist, so this is relevent, not just random questions!)

That's a very good question. I would personally just assume that Healers would be able to take care of any dental problems, but see what other people say!

That makes sense. With magic, teeth problems would be easily fixed so there would be no need for specifically trained dentists.

hm, from the way they talk about Hermione's parents being dentists I've always seen it as an exclusively Muggle thing.

Ditto this!

:/ MAGIC IS OCCASIONALLY TOO USEFUL?
