I know with TS over/nearly over ( :( ), some people are posting their characters futures, but I haven't worked that stuff out (I have trouble picturing Frank as an adult!) and I was going to reveiw all my characters goals at the one year mark and give them replacement goals for goals they'd managed to acheive (especially for Soph because she likes having goals to work towards. The others don't care as much). So instead I'm just talking a bit about each character and then looking at what goals they managed to meet!

Sophia Dixon

Sophia was actually really fun to play. I don't tend to play muggleborns that often (idk why, I always just end up with a lot of purebloods) but when I was choosing my first character for TS, I really liked the idea of the muggleborns in the society that never had them and is more of a pureblood based society. I knew that I'd rather have a Circle member than a WAQ member (Circle sounded more prestigious and cool. Clearly I'm secretly elitist with my love of purebloods and the circle) and I love Ravenclaws so I picked Sophia.

Sophia was a good character to have because even though she didn't really have many people she considered friends because she didn't really have time to spend with friends, she was friendly and did talk to a lot of people which was good for interactions. She does wish she'd listened to Edgar and made more friends though because once Sam broke up with her she felt a little lonely. But she's not really the type to listen to peoples advice. Instead she does what she thinks she should do and learns from her mistakes that it wasn't the best thing to do. I think she thinks too highly of her own opinion to trust always someone elses advice but at least when she doesn't listen to them and things don't go as planned, she learns something, even if she doesn't neccessarily change straight away. There's still a lot she needs to learn and change but at least she's getting there slowly!

GOALS:

Become head girl. - Accomplished! This was the goal she cared about the most. She was very proud of herself for getting head girl and would've worn the badge around for the whole day after she received it.

Get no marks lower than an A, with as many Os as possible.
I think she would've managed to get all As or above, but not as many Os as she would've liked. She does study a lot so it makes sense for her marks to be good, but always studying and not leaving time to relax isn't good for productivity and results in the long run and so I want her to end up a little disappointed in her results so she learns that!

Help Ravenclaw win the house cup. - Who knows!! I want to say that Ravenclaw won because they havent' won like ever in the last 5 years and they ALMOST won last year so they deserve to win this year. But they're kind of losing so idk.

Get over her ridiculous crush on Professor Bobbin. Her parents would not approve and he’s a professor so it’s never going to happen.

Find someone suitable to crush on instead!
- This and the one above were kind of solved by Sam. Plus he's engaged now and all. But she still thinks he's cute!

Cause Victoria (her sister) to not do so well in something. With the two being closest in age there is more competition between them and Sophia figures with this being her A level year she’ll be more stressed and so it’s the perfect time to see if she will crack and fail at something. - She didn't end up doing this. She got busy with school and she doesn't really keep in contact with her family during school time anyway so it would've been difficult. Instead she boasted about the fact that she managed to do well in school and clubs and still get a boyfriend while Victoria could only manage to do well in things. Victoria and Sophia really aren't very nice to each other.

Have a good balance between fun and work. - haha. didn't really happen.

Start a Hockey team! Or something. They need sports other than Quidditch. - She says this counts as accomplished because the football team got started. Not as good as hockey, of course, but it is a sport other than Quidditch. She didn't really have much to do with football becoming an extra curricular but she signed the petition so she's happy to say this goal was met.

Franklin Crabbe

Picking Frank took longer than picking Soph did. I knew I wanted a new character but as long as they weren't in Ravenclaw, since I already had Soph there, I didn't care which house or what year. Eventually I decided on a 5th year and then I decided a Crabbe kid would be fun! Even if they can't actually be Vincent's because he set himself on fire. Also, like I said, I like purebloods and Frank's a pureblood which makes him cool! Then I had fun with Frank's history because I made his dad marry a Goyle. Which meant he had a cousin on the cast list which was awesome. I also made his brother a bully because it's a Crabbe/Goyle kid. They can't be too nice. Frank's nice though, just kinda stupid. Making him find random words and give them new meanings was fun! I got that idea from Friends when Joey is dating Charlie and he learns the word 'acrimonious" and then uses it in all his sentences to try sound smart.

I really didn't do enough with Frank, he was sort of overlooked, but he was fun because he was dumb but friendy. His and Wendy's conversations where fun though and I really loved when Jeremy was in game and he thought Frank was smart because of all the big words he incorrectly used. That was a fun dynamic.
GOALS:

Explore the whole castle before he graduates! - He hasn't graduated yet!

Convince his parents to make his brother move out of home already! - Didn't happen. But Frank did manage to not stay at school for the Christmas holidays (he always avoided going home because of his brother). It wasn't home but the Robins' place would've been nicer anyway!

Do well in CoMC for OWLs. - It's the subject he's best at and one of the few he actually does do work for so he would've been happy with his OWL score for it. His other scores wouldn't have been so great though.

Win a Gobstones tournament before graduating. - Hasn't graduated yet.

Pick a career - He still hasn''t decided! Though he is in Wendy's band and that's going well so there's always that.

Just have fun - He's good at this! He doesn't take much seriously and just enjoys school rather than studying.

Sara Vaisey

Sara I picked up because all the Circle stuff with the alumnis was getting super interesting and I wanted to be involved in it! Plus I loved the friendship group of the hufflepuffs of that year + the others that weren't hufflepuffs. It was a little difficult to come up with a concept for Sara though, because I already had Sophia as a circle member and I didn't want them to be alike, but I think circle members do end up having some similar traits (like they all seem pretty ambitious). Plus I already had Frank who was also a pureblood. So I decided to make Sara's family not have much money (Sophia and Frank were already well off) and not be a society legacy, despite being pureblood. And then I just wanted her to be less focused on work than Sophia, but still be smart and hardworking. I was happy with how Sara turned out though! She was a lot of fun to play. Before the game ended I did want her to end up in Mungo's with a plant injury and not be given any coloured ink to write write while she was there because it would've been amusing, but I sort of ran out of time. I did enjoy Sara's different friendships with people though, like her and Emma, who she thought of as an extra little sister, and Karen, her little, and Edgar to argue with and Paige and everyone else! She was great fun, even if remembering to write in colours and finding colours to write in got annoying at times.

GOALS:

To become rich! - This is more of a long term goal. Sara says unfortunately it hasn't happened yet but she hoeps it will soon.

To discover a new plant, or at the least, a new use for a plant. - Same as above. Not yet but she'd like to think it'll happen one day.

To make sure there are SOME purebloods tapped in the next class. - The eyes been fixed, right? So this should happen. Sara hopes that her brother and Emma Wilkes are tapped.

Collect inks in as many colours as possible. - She's got a lot but again this is more a long term thing because she doesn't think it'll ever be possible to have enough coloured inks.

Learn a foreign language - Poor Sara didn't manage to really complete any of her goals. So no, she hasn't learnt a foreign langauge. She didn't even choose which language she'd like to learn!

I was secretly cheering for Ravenclaw, too. :) If Gryffindor can win the QC, then in my heart, Ravenclaw won the HC.

Yes, the Eye was fixed, so there'd be a mix of purebloods/halfbloods/Muggleborns tapped in the next class (and future classes)!

I've loved Frank's misused vocabulary. So much.

aww Doctor/Rose. I love your icon!

That's what I thought! That's good though.

Thanks! It was fun! Though sometimes hard to come up with a word to use. My dictionary on my phone has a shake to show a random word feature but it always came up with the stupidist things like towns or occupations.

Thanks! I adore the two of them.

Ahaha, I was wondering how you picked the words! There'd have to be a trick to it, finding a word that isn't actually close but would sound smart, so yeah, a random word feature like that doesn't sound consistently helpful. XD

Me too!

Mostly I used a website I found by typing 'big words' into google.
