She thinks he's cool and funny and very smart but she does wish that he wasn't so sad and that he would fight with her mother less. She loves helping out in her dad's shop and trying to come up with new inventions for him to sell. Angelina Imene Johnson - Works in The Department of Magical Games and Sports. Roxanne also loves her mother but doesn't have as much in common with her. |
APPEARANCE: Thanks to her mother, Roxanne missed out on the Weasley red hair and while she thinks her cousins have nice hair, she's kind of glad about this. Instead, she has black hair that she mostle keeps tied back because it's very curly. She also has darker skin than her cousins and brown eyes. She's quite petite and sweet looking, which is added to by her conservative dress style. She loves pretty, girly clothes, something her parents don't understand, and hates to look dirty and unkempt. PB: Jessica Sula |
YEAR: 4th PREVIOUS SCHOOL(S): Granger CLASSES: All + Ancient Runes and Muggle Studies. ACTIVITIES: Only Quidditch. HOUSE: As a Weasley, Roxanne assumes that she will be sorted into Gryffindor. Although she does try to avoid getting into trouble, she is brave and she's definitely loyal to her family so she thinks she could fit in there. Hufflepuff also likes loyalty though, as well as hard work, which Roxanne does like to do. She is smart and appreciates learning, which could also make her a good fit for Ravenclaw. While she thinks her parents would be disappointed if she sorted into Slytherin, she is definitely cunning with the ways she tries to always look innocent. When it comes down to it, Roxanne doesn't really mind where she's sorted - she already knows half the school thanks to being a Weasley so she doubts she'll ever be short of people to talk to in any house. |
WAND WOOD: Mahogany WAND LENGTH: 12 1/4" WAND CORE: Unicorn Hair BOGGART: A dragon. Despite what her Uncle Charlie says, massive creatures who can kill you with their teeth, claws, tail OR by breathing fire at you are SCARY. PATRONUS: Roxanne has never been able to cast a patronus but if she did it would be in the shape of a hedgehog. She's pretty sure she'd need more happy moments before she casting a full one though. LIKES: Pranks, not getting into trouble, people not suspecting her, dressing well, quidditch, other Weasleys and Potters, muggle stuff, WWW, school work, her hair, her pygmy puff, DISLIKES: Getting dirty, sad people, being sad herself, conflict, arguments and fights, dragons, any food that is messy and hard to eat, people without a sense of humour. STRENGTHS:Reading peoples emotions, likes to make sure people are happy, optimistic, clever, good sense of humour. WEAKNESSES: Likes revenge, not always a good team player, not good at showing her own emotions, can be bossy, has a temper, not remorseful. |
DETAILED PERSONALITY: Roxanne appears to be a well behaved, polite, sweet, innocent girl. This is not completely true. Aware of the reputation that preceeds her, being the daughter of George Weasley, Roxanne does the best she can to distance herself from this trouble making connection. Not because she dislikes pranking or is scared of getting in trouble, but because it is easier to get away with things when people don't immedietly think of you as the suspect. Growing up with George as her father, Roxanne was unable to escape pranking. She never minded this though and would always laugh and retaliate. She's grown to be quite the mischief maker herself and really loves trying to help her dad come up with new ideas for his joke shop. There's little Roxanne loves more than a good laugh. The emotional impact the death of her Uncle Fred had on both her mum and her dad hasn't escaped Roxanne's notice. She may not have known what they were like before Fred's death but she can see the difference in their moods at certain times, like the anniversary of his death or his birthday. She has become very aware of their emotions and has gotten good at telling when they're in good moods or when they're upset, even when they try to hide it. This has carried over into other situations and Roxanne is quite good at reading people's emotions. Because of this, she can be a good listener and likes trying to be empathetic and help people. Because both her parents are sad from time to time, Roxanne has always felt that it is her duty to cheer them up. She tries her hardest to appear perpetually happy and humour is her go to response for everything, stemming from attempts to make her parents laugh. She does get sad herself but rarely actually shows it, prefering to act like she is always cheerful. While she may seem like a happy person, Roxanne does have a temper. If you piss her (or her brother or one of her cousins) off she'll make sure to get revenge. It may not happen straight away as she often prefers to wait until she has a great plan before striking back, but she will always get her revenge eventually. Until she does, she will still continue to act friendly towards you as not to arouse suspicion about her plans. She also rarely feels remorse if people don't find her pranks as funny as she does. To her it's just a joke and if someone can't handle it then they should get a better sense of humour! Roxanne has never been one to enjoy organised clubs or activites. She'd rather do things on her own time than at a set time with a set group of people. The only exception to this is quidditch. Both of her parents love the sport and taught her to fly from a young age, neither of them considering the dangers of giving young children broomsticks. Although she loves her family, her favourite thing about them was always Weasley-Potter quidditch games. They were just so fun! Even though she's athletic when it comes to quidditch, she isn't interested in other sports nor does she like getting dirty, unless it is through playing quidditch or accidentally (or purposely) exploding something. Her mother and her father were both surprised by her love for looking nice and presentable at all times, considering that it wasn't something that really bothered either of them. Roxanne thinks that dressing smartly helps with her appearance of not being a trouble maker. Like her dad (who she is convinced is a genius) Roxanne is very smart. Unlike her dad, however, she actually applies her brains to something other than inventions and ways to get into trouble. She enjoys learning, is very driven when it comes to doing well and is always pleased when she gets a good mark. She does feel like her father is more pleased to hear about her latest trouble making escapades than her marks though. Luckily, she does also enjoy using her intelligence to have fun, just not until the majority of her work is done. Roxanne has a habit of being bossy, especially when stressed. She likes things to be done her way and isn't afraid to tell people this. If Roxanne gets into an argument she will defend her point stubbornly and doesn't give up easily. Despite acting polite most of the time, if you question or disagree with her opinions, she won't be so nice, unless you're doing so in good humour. Despite this, Roxanne doesn't enjoy conflict, she's just not one to back down if it arises. Roxanne does not possess her father's entrepreneurial skills, much to her disappointment. She would love to be able to sell ideas and products the way he does and loves working in the shop with him to try and learn. She is slowly improving but she's not sure she could ever be as good at it as he is. She'd rather just think of new products than try to sell them. Overall, Roxanne is an optimistic person. she likes to always try to see things in a positive light and isn't always a realist. This may make her seem naive but that's not the case. It's not like she expects her parents to get back together, nor does she want that to happen, she just likes to remain positive because being negative really doesn't do any good at all. |
HISTORY: The story of George and Angelina is hardly a fairytale romance. In fact, it's hardly a romance at all. The two had been friends for a long time but Angelina had always been more interested in her on-and-off boyfriend, Fred, and George had never thought of Angelina as anything but another of his mates and his brother's on-and-off girlfriend. Most of the time George didn't even think about the fact that Angelina was a girl. Things changed after the battle of Hogwarts. While there were a lot of losses, none affected George more than the death of Fred Weasley. He lost his business partner, his twin brother, and most importantly, his best friend all at once. While Angelina had cared for Fred, she could hardly claim that it was as bad for her. But she missed Fred nonetheless. They'd always been friends but Angelina and George grew closer after this event, grieving together and trying to come to terms with the fact that Fred was dead. Despite this, there friendship remained purely platonic for years. Every year on the 2nd of May Angelina would show up in George's doorstep with enough alcohol to get them through the night. It had become their tradition and their way of coping with what had happened. One night, drunken grieving turned into drunken sex and while they both agreed to just forget it never happened, it was just because of the alcohol, when Angelina became pregnant it became a little harder to forget. When their respective families found out about the pregnancy it was automatically assumed that the two would get married. A baby deserved to have two parents and a loving family, after all. Even though they weren't in love, the two eventually gave in to the pressure and married. A few months later Fred Weasley the second was born. While George and Angelina had many arguments, there was no dispute over what to name their son. It was just a pity they couldn't manage to agree on much else. Although they worked well as friends, as a married couple George and Angelina just didn't get along. It didn't help that they both cared more about their dead friend than they did each other. Angelina was ready to leave and just give up on the relationship when she found out she was pregnant again. With another baby on the way, she decided to try sticking it out. They managed to stay together until Fred was ten, though things were very rarely pleasant. Luckily for Roxanne, Fred did his best to shield her from all the unpleasantness that came from the fighting and the constant tension. As well as having Fred, Roxanne also developed an imaginary twin. From her dad's reaction do his twins death and from the stories she's heard, having a twin seemed like the best thing ever so Roxanne came up with Roxanna. To her, Roxanna was a real person and her real twin and she talked about her as if she was. When Roxanne got into trouble, it would always have been Roxanna's idea and it was Roxanna that had made the mess in the kitchen, not her. Roxanna was her way of dealing with all their family problems. With her imaginary twin, Roxanne didn't always have to pretend to be happy because her twin knew when she was sad. As Roxanne got older she realised that while Roxanna helped her cope with everything, she wasn't helping anyone else, especially not her dad. She she grew up and stopped talking about her imaginary twin. Despite knowing that she was only imaginary, Roxanne does miss her and still wishes that she had a real twin. When Roxanne gets really upset she does tend to revert back to believing Roxanna exists. She also named her pet Pygmy Puff after her imaginary twin. Even though the separation was hard on the family, Roxanne believes that it was good for them all. No one was happy with the way things were and she was sick of having to pretend that things were fine all the time. This didn't make moving out any easier. It was decided that Angelina as George often stayed back late at the shop, working on new inventions. Thankfully, George and Angelina were able to agree that both kids should be able to see either parent whenever they wanted, so while they technically lived with Angelina, they were able to go to George's and stay whenever they felt like it. Roxanne tried to split her time evenly between the two, not wanting it to seem like she favoured one over the other or that she siding with one of them. With Hogwarts closed, Granger was the obvious choice for schooling. Although Roxanne knew that Fred would eventually leave for school she was devestated when the time came and she couldn't wait until she got to go off to school too, so she wouldn't have to be home with her parents all the time. She wrote Fred, as well as her other relatives, owls fairy often so she could hear what was happening and eventually it was time for her to go to Granger herself. While Roxanne did mostly enjoy Granger, the lack of a proper quidditch team bothered her. When it was announced that Hogwarts would be reopening she knew right away she wanted to go there, as long as Fred did too. So with directions to some hidden passageways and a 'say hi to Peeves for me' from her dad and a 'try to stay out of trouble' from her mum, Roxanne was ready to start Hogwarts! |
