Appearance
James has black, untidy hair. it seems to always stick up at the back. This probably has to do with his habit of running his hand through his hair, which he does to make it look like he's just gotten of a broom. He also does it when he's nervous or embarassed or well, just whenever really, but extra when he's nervous. His hazel eyes are framed by glasses and he is tall and thin. Personality
James is an arrogant, self-important, cocky prat who can be very cruel at times. Of course, being a Gryffindor, he is also very brave and would do anything for the people he loves. He is very bold and doesn't seem to mind getting in trouble. He enjoys pulling pranks and making fun of people. Although he seems very bold and confident, deep down he is very dependant on his friends and would be lost without them.

Family and Friends
Both of James' parents are from wizarding background. As James was born when they were older, he was pampered and got almost everything he wanted. Of course, it helped that his family was very wealthy. His mother, Dorothy Potter, was a very kind and loving mother and his father, Thomas Potter, enjoyed a good prank as much as James.

James' closest friends are the Marauders:- Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. He would do absolutely anything for them. He is especially close to Sirius, almost like brothers (Sirius moving in with the Potters made them even more like brothers). Recently he has become good friends with Cassidy Andrews, best friend to both Lily and Remus but unfortunately hated by Sirius. He's also reasonably good friends with Andromeda Black because anyone who Sirius likes that much must be pretty awesome. James is in love with Lily Evans, who, after many years of pestering and persitance on James' behalf, finally agreed to go out with him. He has dated many other girls before Lily, but none of them were serious, as he's liked Lily for years, they were mainly just his 'fan girls' as he called them. His enemies are pretty much any Slytherin, but he has a particular dislike towards 'Snivellus' (Serverus Snape). He also strongly dislikes Ted Tonks because Sirius has told him bad things about him.
