Last night was my deb and it was so fun that I jsut feel like talkign ahout it. Not that much interesting happened.

My hair took 2.5 hours to do (groan!) but it was worth it. We had to arrive at the venue at 4pm for photos that went until 6:45. SOOOO many photos. It was really tedious. But they fed us Deb cookies (the best cookies ever! The lady who runs the deb makes them. She's awesome!) so it was ok. Then at 6:45 ish we had to do our slow walk in to be rpesented. i kinda screwed this up because after my curtsey I walked away then realised I'd left my partner behind. But I did stop to wait for him so it wasn;t too abd...

Then we did our first waltz which went pretty smoothly (except for when my glove got caught on my ehadband during a spin but we sorted that out quickly enough for no one to notice). Then we ate and danced and at some more then danced some more then we had speeches and then it was the progressive waltz followed by teh dance with the parents.

I took my shoes off after that dance. My feet were killing me by that stage!!! Then I danced more then we ate cake and danced more. Then it was zorba time! It got way faster then we practiced it so we allgave up but it was so much fun! I got home at about 12:30 so I'm really tired but it was just the most fun thing!!!!!!!!!

	That's so cool that you got to be a deb! That was one of those things I always wanted to do, except my family didn't do things like that. I request pictures! (Reply to this) (Thread)

Our school runs one for year 11 girls every year. My mum hated the idea of a deb (she refused to go to hers) but I decided to go anyway. In the end she decided it was a good experience. I wish you could'v been a deb! They really are lots of fun.

Well, most of my pictures are uploaded to my myspace (http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=90206214&albumId=2046612) I'm pretty sure they're public but tell me if they're not. They're not all uploaded unfortunately because stupid mysapce takes forever to upload. Grr.
