Name: Sophie Capper

Birthday: June 23 1981
Bloodline: Muggle Born
Sexuality: heterosexual
Family and background: Sophie grew up in a normal muggle home, living a normal muggle life with her parents and older brother, Thomas. Her dad, Paul Capper worked as a marketing manager and her mum, Olivia Capper (Tallin) , worked as teacher. Sophie attended a muggle school in Cambridgeshire, where the Cappers lived. When Sophie was 9, her parents split up and Sophie and her brother moved in with thier mother but visited their dad often. Sophie was probably closer to her dad than her mum, sharing more interests with him, so at first she missed her dad a lot, but she eventually got used to it and always looked forward to visits to her dads. Her and her brother were always close, especially since there was only a one and a bit year age gap.
Before Sophie knew she was a witch she enoyed her school and her other activities. Sophie did dancing, singing and baking, much to her mothers approval. She enjoyed dancing more than singing, but continued with singing to keep her mother happy.
Sopie was very excited to find out she was a witch. Her Hogwarts letter was a shock to the whole family though, as there wasn't a bit of magic in their bloodline. She left her muggle school and got ready to start at Hogwarts. Unlike some muggleborns, Sophie didn't care that she wasn't from a wizarding family, and was quite proud of her background. Even though some purebloods were discrimitory, she remained proud.
Arriving at Hogwarts, Sophie was sorted into Hufflepuff, were she soon made friends with the other 'Puffs in her year.
Sophie has so far thouroughly enjoyed her schooling at Hogwarts, although finding out that not all witches and wizards are good was quite a shock, and is hoping her last two years will be as good as the first 5.

Appearance: Being a dancer, Sophie is petite, but muscular and has long legs. She also has long, slightly wavy, brown hair and green eyes.

Personality: Sophie is a kind, loyal person with a wide range of interests. She loves dancing and baking, but also likes horse racing and Super League, where her favourite team is the Saints. These last two interests are ones she shares with her dad. She and her dad would often watch the Super league or horse races together and her dad taught her a lot about both of them. Her interests in the wizarding world include quidditch, which she loves, and her classes, which she still finds really interesting and surprising, even after 6 years of being in the magcal world. Her favourite subjects are herbology, astronomy and runes.
Sophie is a friendly person, but can be shy and untalkative at first. If you get her started on something she's interested in though, she won't shut up.
Plans: To try and make more friends and to do well in, and enjoy her, 6th year.
Sample Journal entry: Wow. A magic journal! The wonders of magic never cease to amaze me. These things seem very useful so I'm glad I finally got one. It seems a great way to make new friends, or jsut talk to people you wouldn't usually.
Anyway, enough about me talking about journals. You all have one, so you don't need hear about them. I don't really have much else to say though. So, I suppose maybe I'll stop writing now.

Sample Role Play: She was sitting on the couch, the really comfy one, in the Hufflepuff common room, 3 letters in her hand. She'd recieved them ths morning at breakfast, but hadn't had time to read them yet. Sophie peeled open the first one, from her mother and read it quickly. It was the same old really, Finsihing that one, Sophie picked up the next, this one from her dad. It was a lot more interesting. Her dad kept her up to date with all the muggle stuff she liked. He told her who had won in the league this week, and what the scores of all the games had been, and if there were any changes to the compitition ladder. he'd then tell her about some of the big horse races and who'd won and what that meant for them. Lastly, there was a letter from her brother. This detailed his life and asked her lots of questions about school. Thomas was always interested in what was going on at Hogwarts and Sophie often wished he was a wizard so he could've come here too. Sophie sighed, feeling a sudden pang of nostalgia. She missed her family and she owrried about them all the time. Especially with you-know-who coming back to power and all. Her brother and father knew about it, but she had't told her mother in fear that she might panic and pull her out of school or something drastic like that. School was safer than home though.
Sophie pulled out a quill and parchment and began to write reply letters to each of them, carefully choosing what was put in each one, depending on the person being written to.
