Joshua Tofty

okay, i haven't really written anything for this app yet but the basic idea is that Joshua used to be an actor on radio soaps etc, well known for his ability to do a large range of voices/impressions, but through a series of events started getting less roles until he eventually decided to quit acting. Then he decided he wanted to be a teacher because his dad would actually approve of that and so he did all the kwikschool history courses since that was his best subject in school and then took over the owl HoM/ancient history teaching last year. He likes to use his acting skills to reenact historical events, which he thinks makes his classes more fun but he is also very easy to get off topic and will impersonate anyone his students ask him to do, historical or not. He favours students who recognise him/know of his work and enjoys mocking other teachers and his students by impersonating them too.

Possible relationships:

he has two siblings! currently they are both older but their ages can be changed, as can their names. so if you need a last name you can be a Tofty!
he has an ex fiancee! i imagine he sort of sabotaged the relationship himself/ended it when his acting career started being less successful. any sort of interaction here would be interesting, i think.

various tl;drs that i am finally posting. mainly for elevator characters + a couple of others. might also do ball thoughts for some characters in comments but i just want to get this POSTED because i've had it sitting around for ages

CURT

Curtis is so selfish omg and it's so frustrating. everything ever has to be about him. But although he hated it, I think getting stuck in a lift with Rachel and Rosie was good for him because even though he still won't admit it, at least now he's been told that he wasn't completely blameless in the relationship not working out, instead of just assuming it was all Rachel's fault. And I think he got to say some stuff that he needed to say. I felt bad for Rosie though because he practically ignored her existance until he wanted her to agree with him and he was so hypocritical when he was talking about Rachel being insensitive because he was being more isensitive to Rosie than Rachel was to him. But I guess Curt always thinks of himself as the victim and doesn't consider other peoples feelings. Like even when he talked to CC and Sasha. He really should apologise to Sasha but Curt doesn't really do apologising. He was also kind of insensitive when he went to see Scarlett and was like Rachel told me she loves someone else even though she knows I love her. Because he pretty much did the exact same thing to Scarlett. It annoys me how bad a friend Curt can be, because his friendship with Scarlett is based around what he wants and he never considers what other people want and although he cared about Scarlett, he cares about himself more. I think the only way Curt will actually get over Rachel is if he starts dating someone else (not because he can't get over her but because he chooses not to) but he can't date anyone else because then he compares them to Rachel and he talks about Rachel all the time and it'll be like Rosie all over again. I think what he needs is to become friends with someone who doesn't really know him or his friends so he can slowly become friends with them and through that start to like them without meaning to or something. Because really, when Curtis is cheerful, he's not that bad. He's just been in a bad mood for a long time now. It'd be good if the new friend worked in his office too so maybe then he'd stay in his office and actually WORK at work and become less dependent on Scarlett and stuff. It'd be good for him. Oh, and i loved how he just expected to be rescued immedietly when he mentioned his name and when that didn't work he actually called Edgar and was like make them get me out. He expects being the ministers son to solve all his problems (except his problems with Rachel) and it kind of surprises him when it doesn't. idk, I love Curtis but he really does need to grow up and learn to cope with his own problems instead of expecting other people to solve them or sulking over them and being moody forever.

CARA

With Cara in the lift I liked that she figured out that CC and Rowan had broken up. Because Cara is smart and while a lot of the time she makes stuff up or just eavesdrops to get information she can also be observant. Yes she made up that cc liked rowan in the first place but she thinks just because she's made something up doesn't make it any less true, sometimes. other times she knows the stuff she's made up is ridiculous and not true. especially since she's happy to makes stuff up about herself when there's not enough gossip, just to keep herself amused. but she's happy to make stuff up and spread it about herself, she prefers that over people knowing real things about herself. When it comes down to it, Cara is pretty secretive about herself. Yes, everyone knows she liked Micah and she didn't really care as long as he didn't know but there’s also a lot about cara that she doesn’t really talk about and sure, that’s somewhat to do with her not really having anyone to talk to but i think it’s more to do with her not wanting to share everything about herself, because otherwise she would just let everyone know. but anyway, i love how much of a ravenclaw cara really is, because she loves figuring out things and she loves knowing things. it’s just that it’s not useful knowledge she likes, but information about people. I also like that despite the fact that cara pretty much compulsively lies, she actually makes an effort not to lie to micah. she’s not completely honest with him and she’s definitely not going to tell him she’s sleeping with xander and she had no problem lying about that when asked, but instead of pretending she was seeing someone she said that she was just sleeping with someone. Which is progress for cara, considering the whole fake dating hayden to make micah jealous thing. i think she promised micah she wouldn’t lie to him anymore, ages ago, and despite breaking up with him, she does actually try to not lie to him, which takes a lot more effort than lying does, to her. she did get annoyed when he called her insecure though because although she’ll deny it, she knows she’s insecure and it’s not something she likes about herself because she likes to think she doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her but she knows it isn’t true and she knows why it isn’t true but she’s not about to tell micah that, especially while trapped in an elevator with a bunch of people she doesn’t even really like. and i don’t really know why suddenly she cared about cc and rowan and thought they should get back together but i think it’s because despite liking it when people break up etc from the point of view of having something to gossip about, she is kind of a romantic (which i blame mer and her romance novels for) and i think really it was her projecting her own hope that people can still work things out after breaking up rather than her actually caring about rowan and cc’s happiness. also, and this ties in with cara’s need to know everything and doesn’t really have anything to do with elevators, but cara seems to have a type. at first I was like it’s guys who don’t actually want to be in a relationship/long term relationship but that didn’t make sense because cara really only does proper relationships (with the exception of xander and to an extent, rowan since she didn’t actually like him) so she wouldn’t purposely seek out people who don’t want this. but micah, rowan and xander are all people who aren’t very open and don’t talk about themselves/are kind of secretive. which would attract cara because she loves the idea of finding out stuff about people that other people don’t know, even if she doesn’t get to tell anyone (like, the little stuff micah actually told her she wouldn’t tell anyone but she loves knowing). and then, because of this I don’t know if she likes micah because she wants to know more about him or she wants to know more about him because she likes him. I guess it’s both, really.

cara cares way too much about micah’s opinion of her. while mostly she doesn’t really care if people hate her because she hates most of them too with micah she’s always cared. like that time she sent him that flown message asking him if he thought she was a crazy bitch. So micah saying she is/dating her was pointless really hurt her. But then she got over it once he admitted that he still likes her and thinks he’s great. That makes her really happy. But it also makes her expect him to do something about it and to stop fighting with her all the time (even if she provokes him pretty much all the time) and she thinks that if he’s not doing anything about it then he can’t have an opinion on her shagging other people (but she’s allowed to care that he is and be mean to people she thinks he’s shagging even if he’s not really). At the same time, she kind of likes it when her sleeping with someone else is brought up because although this time it’s not about making him jealous, like it was when she fake dated hayden (sleeping with xander was never something cara did to make micah jealous, to her it was just a bonus that it did and that it made him ask her out) if it does make him jealous then that’s great too. but she can never tell if he is actually jealous or if it’s just her reading too much into things/wishful thinking.

GARETH

I don't really have much to say about Gareth, I just didn't want to leave him out. Gareth doesn't mind that Micah's trying to set him up with CC and he'd happily go on a date with her, he just isn't really into being social and therefore doesn't feel like dating. He's glad Julia was stuck in the lift too because otherwise all the people from his office would've driven him crazy and he thinks his dress sense is fine! and that's pretty much it. Gareth is boring.

gareth thinks he’s been very social lately and he kind of just wants to go back to being antisocial. he likes sleeping with elle and he thinks it’ll be nice to catch up with stella but both together plus having to go on a date thanks to the auction which he did not want to be a part of is kind of just too much socialization for him and he just wants to not be social again for a while. so idk how he’s going to cope with casually seeing both elle and stella (actually, I just realized their names are kinda similar. he should mix them up at some point) so that’ll be interesting and hopefully help him be more social. or make him want to be even less social. we’ll see.

ROWAN

Rowan has no idea what to do in relationships when he actually likes the person he's dating. He's so used to not caring about the other person and not caring about break ups that he assumes that CC breaking up with him is final and there's nothing he can do to change that and so she should move on and find someone else, which is why he didn't mind Micah trying to set her up with Gareth and didn't like Cara trying to get him and CC back together. He wants CC to be happy because he does care about her, which is why he wanted her to stop seeing Jackson and why he tried to set her up with Brady. Telling CC she should date someone else and him being fine with them breaking up is his way of showing that he cares about her. He doesn't really understand that a better way of showing he cared would be to say he'd attempt a longer term relationship because he doesn't really want to break up with her. So he'll probably just continue to encourage her to date other people when they run into each other.

Rowan didn't realise how much he likes/missed cc until they got back together. he's still not really into the long term thing but he figures he may as well try it because after the night with drunk jackson he realised that even though he'd only said he'd consider trying a relationship again, he didn't think of himself as single anymore and just accepted it when the office was like "aren't you pretty much dating cc anyway?". and since he pretty much felt like he was already back in a relationship with her, there was no reason to not be in a relationship with her. so he's actually pretty happy right now, as long as future talk is kept to a minimum.

JACKSON

Jackson's problem is that he has no idea what he wants and so he refuses to make any sort of decision in case he changes his mind or makes the wrong choice. I think he thinks too far into the future instead of making a decision for what he wants now. But he won't admit that he has no idea what he wants because he prides himself on the fact that he has always known what he wants and has always done stuff to get what he wants. That's career wise though, and I think he's always been more focused on that and so has never really thought about what he wants relationship wise and so now just says he doesn't want anything because it's easier and with CC liking him and them flirting and her breaking up with Rowan and running into Freya he's just even more confused and so he keeps pushing the idea of having a relationship further and further back so that he doesn't have to deal with it. He figures that in a few years he will know what he wants and so he's not thinking about it until then and if by then he still doesn't know, he'll make up some new excuse not to date. Which isn't exactly a good way to deal with things but it's what he does anyway. He does miss having cc as a friend but the band has always been his main priority and therefore not upsetting jesse is currently more important than being friends with cc (he just forgets this sometimes so it's good he has stella to point it out). he hopes they can be friends again soon but when sober he gets that space is a good idea.

so obviously since I wrote that Jackson and cc are friends again and he’s glad because he does need her as a friend because she’s the person he actually talks to about stuff and I’m glad he actually apologized for how he’d been treating her and he is glad that cc is happy even though he doesn’t like rowan because to him rowan’s the guy who would always call cc and ask her to do ridiculous things and interrupt him and cc and who drove cc crazy so he doesn’t really understand the relationship and I think he misses having cc as kind of a fall back girlfriend. Like, he never really planned on dating her and he didn’t want to lead her on, which is why he ended the fwb but he did like knowing she liked him and wanted him which is why he always ended up kissing/wanting to kiss her. but anyway, I think their friendship is good right now and he doesn’t plan to hit on/flirt with her again (not that he ever really planned it, it just happened) because he’s realized that he needs her around as a friend more than he needs her around as someone who makes him feel good about himself because she likes him.

JD

I like that JD just doesn't see an issue with obliviating people. Since both his parents are obliviators and he's never had to do the ethics stuff related to being one, I don't think he even thinks about how it might not be the most ethical thing to do or how it could affect the people being obliviated. He's just like we can have your memories taken away and that's fine and will solve all the problems. But thinking that Summer's going to be obliviated will change that because he doesn't want her to forget him. So that'll be interesting! He also doesn't like it when other hit wizards have to look after her, even though he understands that he needs a break, because he doesn't want her to end up liking any of them better and he also doesn't want her to be bored while she's in the wizarding world. He thinks of her more as a friend than as the muggle he has to look after and so wants to introduce her to all his friends and do lots of fun stuff with her, even though he knows it's just more that she won't rememember.

so obviously jd really likes summer and is super glad she doesn’t have to be obliviated anymore. but he says that doesn’t mean he’s suddenly like lewis and thinks everyone should start dating. instead he thinks that summer is just special and doesn’t agree with theories that it’s just because they spent a lot of time together. so he’s actually glad that someone got murdered and he got to meet summer because of that, even though he knows he really shouldn’t be happy that someone got murdered. anyway, he’s really enjoying the whole having a girlfriend thing so far (aside from having to have supervision on dates) and he loved getting to introduce summer to his parents and telling frankie he was dating and he’s looking forward to when he actually gets to meet summer’s friends and family. I don’t think he ever expected to like dating because to him most couples seem boring. he’s also having fun with the whole summer is a veela thing but he tends to forget that Rufus is only pretending to like summer and actually gets defensive. jd also hates not being the one who looks after summer anymore and while he was the one who stepped down from the case, he thinks he should be able to look after summer anyway because he’s still a fully trained hit wizard and he’s most likely to want to keep her safe. rationally, he knows It wouldn’t be smart to be on a case that he’s emotionally invested in but he ignores that rationality most of the time because looking after summer was pretty much the most fun case ever and he misses it.

ATTICUS

Atticus is ridiculous. he’s sort of like cara in the way he likes making up stories and stuff but at least when cara makes stuff up she knows a lot of it isn’t true and just pretends it is whereas Atticus makes stuff up and then actually starts believing everything he says is true. He’s 100% convinced that Summer is a veela and even if the other hit wizards weren’t pretending she was also he would still believe it. so now he’s just kind of scared of summer (after all this a veela will probably end up being his boggart) because he hates the idea of being forced to love someone just because they’re a veela. i guess he’d hate love potions too if he ever thought about it (which he shouldn’t. he’ll come up with a theory about them too otherwise). anyway, not much to say here, just that atticus is crazy but it’s fun.

RORY

Rory was a lot more hurt by CC not listening to him and going out to see Jackson than he said because once cc came and apologised he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it because while he loves fake fighting with cc, he hates real fighting with her so when she was like you were right, sorry he was happy to just say it was fine and move on. but it hurt because he was just looking out for her but she chose Jackson anyway, who, in rory’s opinion, has never really acted like he cares about cc in the slightest and who just kept hurting her. and he knows she has to make her own decisions and whatever but he still just wishes she’d listen to him sometimes or at least not get annoyed at him when all he’s trying to do is prevent her from getting hurt. he has forgiven her but he does still feel a little hurt. i think with her being back with rowan and then going away they probably haven’t seen each other that much lately so he just doesn’t feel like things are completely back to normal, but he’ll act like they are anyway.

I saw The Lion King in 3D yesterday! Which was fun, but it didn't really make any difference to the movie, except for making the scenery seem cooler and as if it had more depth. But it was great just to be able to see it at the movies again. They should re release more Disney movies at the cinemas! They don't even have to bother with the 3D part. Anyway, watching it again made me feel really sorry for Simba's mother. Her husband (is it still a husband when you're a lion? I think they refer to Thomas as a potential husband in The Aristocats and lions are basically cats so husband should work. idc.) dies, she thinks he son is dead, she's no longer queen and she has to put up with Scar as the new king. Despite all this, when Scar calls her to talk about the lack of food and she has to walk through all those hyenas, she still looks SO regal and I loved that. Then, she finds out her son isn't deal but that he killed her husband (which is thankfully all cleared up eventually, but for a few minutes she thinks that). I think it'd be really interesting to see the movie from her pov and see how bad the pride lands were with Scar as king because you only ever see it when Zazu and the hyenas are complaining and never get to see it from the lion's pov.

Also, I am finally on midsemester break! Except it's week 9 so it's more like 3/4 semester break but whatever, a break is good no matter when it is! Now that I've got some time until I go away for the long weekend, I'm going to do some memes! Also, corsair , I think it'd be fun/interesting to do backstory/prequel type logs for ~scandaled (not necessarily this week because I don't know how busy you are! but at some point). because flashbacks in gg are always interesting and I loved the prequel book because it explained so much in the later books. and mainly I just think it's be fun to see more of tiffany, audrey, max and baxter and their friendship before things got all complicated and it'd be good for character development.

Cara:

I got my Pottermore email this morning! But I had to go to uni and do a chemistry test instead of getting to play around with it. I briefly had a look during a break but the site confuses me! It took me ages to work it out and I still haven't managed to unlock extra info and stuff yet. But I will be home in a few hours and can look at it properly then. Hopefully I'll work out how it works then!

Edit: I worked out the site! My wand is Hazel with phoenix feather core, 10 3/4 inches, surprisingly swishy and I sorted Ravenclaw and then blew up my cauldron. Anyway, I'm DreamElm137 if you want to add me!

I haven’t actually watched Hamish and Andy’s gap year yet but the ads make me think of Blake and Eric and Megan. Megan, despite refusing to move in with Eric yet, is fine with moving to New York and living with him there. The excitement of going to New York is greater than the fear of the relationship getting too serious and so it doesn’t bother her in the slightest. She doesn’t even think twice about it. But I’m sure she’ll get back to London after living with Eric for a year and be like I’m still not moving in with you because my parents lived together and they are crazy and I’m sane! And then go home and tell her toys how much she missed them and introduce them to the new ones she bought overseas because conversing with toys is perfectly sane as long as no one knows about it in Megan’s opinion!

But really, even though Megan says it’s because she doesn’t want to go crazy, that’s not really it. She has realised that dating Eric hasn’t made her any less sane or more Cadwallader-like and she admitted she was in love with him because she realised not saying it didn’t make it any less true and that saying it didn’t make her any more crazy. Megan over thinks everything though and self edits everything she says before she says it because otherwise she will sound egotistical and show she’s more like the rest of her family than she’d like to admit. Because really, Megan shares a lot of similar traits with Rhodri, it’s just the traits/interests she shares with Lolly, such as photography and drinking, that she prefers to accentuate. But like Rhodri she doesn’t like answering questions and will give simple answers without the full details until prodded for more details. and there were other ways she reminded me of him but I don’t remember right now. And probably part of the reason she enjoys drinking/partying is that when she has been she doesn’t think as much and she says what she means instead of what she thinks she should say to make herself seem the way she wants to be seen.

Anyway, that’s sort of off topic, what I wanted to say is that it’s not about not wanting to be crazy anymore, and probably never fully was, it was just an excuse, even if she didn’t realise it. Megan likes her independence and is proud of herself for moving out of home as soon as she graduated and for getting a job and all that and she really likes having the freedom to just drop everything and go travelling when she gets the opportunity. And before Eric that was fine, because although she would miss her friends and family, travelling was better and usually she had George with her so she didn’t really miss her friends (just worried about Dan and Fionn’s ability to survive on their own) and a break away from her family was always nice. But now she has to worry about missing Eric, and she hates that! She’s the type who’ll send a postcard to everyone when she arrives to let them know she arrived safely but apart from that tries to not contact people while she’s away so she doesn’t think about them and how she misses them. So living with Eric in New York is no big deal because she’s already some where cool and exciting and she’s still got the freedom to go explore other states for weeks while Eric and Blake film or whatever and she can just do whatever she wants but she feels like if she moves in with Eric back in the UK she’ll get too used to having him around all the time and that will either stop her from travelling or make her miss him when she is travelling. So for the sake of feeling like she has freedom and is independent, she has to not live with him. Which doesn’t really make much sense logically but honestly, most of Megan’s reasoning for anything only makes sense to her and she usually justifies things that don’t even need to be justified in some strange way so that she feels okay with it. idk. Megan’s mind is a strange place but I always find it interesting.

I always tl;dr about characters in my head but never write any of it down and then forget stuff that I've worked out/thought about. So I thought I should actually write some of it down. There are other characters who I have thoughts about and want to get to eventually but I always get bored so I thought I'd post the ones I've done now or else I'll never do it. So there's probably more to come later.

Drew I like how Drew acts differently around his friends, his family and Frankie. Like with his friends he can be a bit of a jerk. He honestly doesn’t even really like the fact that lots of girls like him because sometimes it’s really not good for his relationship with Frankie. But he’s not going to tell his friends that and instead brags about it and points out that not only does he have a hot girlfriend but tons of other girls like him, including Jake’s gf and Jackson’s sister, and that most of them don’t even have girlfriends. And then gets bored when people change the topic to something not about how lucky he is/how awesome his gf is. Then around his family he’s kind of bratty, which I think he thinks he’s entitled to be as the youngest, and does things like refuse to respond to the name Andrew and while he’d never admit it, he;s kind of jealous of Xander because he thinks Xander seems more perfect and has the job that their dad approves of and everything. And because of this, he doesn’t like Xander telling him to be nicer to their dad and mostly tries not to be too involved in his or Millie’s lives. Whereas with Frankie he tries to be really sweet and nice most of the time because he doesn’t want her to think badly of him. I also imagine that he’s a bit of a clean freak (because his mum was and would’ve taught him to always clean up after himself) and when Frankie’s opening the shop he probably gets up and makes the bed straight away and then, if he’s working later, just cleans up her apartment until his shift starts and if he’s not working, goes home to his own apartment (because he does still spend time there! his friends exaggerate! He doesn’t actually want to move in with Frankie yet, he likes having his own place.) and makes sure it’s still clean. His complete lack of humour when it comes to jokes about his gf amuses me too. Apparently he’s very touchy about people making jokes about her not really liking him/liking someone else.

Cara:I worked out why Cara’s mad at Micah, besides the breaking up with her thing. She liked Micah for so long and she waited for him and she didn’t date anyone else and she had to put up with him sleeping with everyone but her and then finally he asked her out and she was so happy. She’d been patient and she’d finally gotten what she wanted. And then they started arguing. And instead of working through it like normal people, he just broke up with her and that’s why she’s mad. She gets that he doesn’t have much experience with relationships but she doesn’t think breaking up just because you fight a bit is acceptable. To her, fighting is normal. Her parents argue all the time and always have but she knows they love each other and aren’t going to split up because of a fight. She’d be more worried that something is wrong if her parents didn’t argue. So while she might not have enjoyed fighting with Micah, she thinks that they should’ve talked about it and tried to work through it rather than just ‘solving’ it by breaking up, which really didn’t solve anything because they still argue all the time. She’s also over hating everyone he’s ever slept with because she realised they don’t matter. He doesn’t care about them once he’s shagged them so there’s no need to be jealous. Not that she suddenly likes all the people that he’s slept with, she just doesn’t want to ruin their lives anymore. She is jealous of those that Micah could potentially sleep with still though, because that means he wants them, even if it is only briefly. Once (if) he’s slept with them, she doesn’t care anymore but when they potentially could or if they’re flirting with him then she hates them.

Millie Millie’s the kind of person while both fairly nice and polite, she’s not overly open and therefore hard to get to know and hard to tell what she actually thinks about people. She also never uses ! ever. Which makes it hard because it makes her not seem any more excited about one thing than she does anything else. Once you’ve befriended her she’s much more open and friendly and easy to talk to but it takes her a while to decide if she likes and trusts you enough to be like that. So with Spencer she’s aware that he likes her but she’s not sure how she feels yet so she doesn’t want to encourage or discourage him until she’s made up her mind. Which makes it even harder for her to talk to him which tends to make her come off as completely disinterested. And I had something else to say about her but I can’t remember what it was now!

Evie and Ada's friendship still amuses me.

With repeats, my most common is Trio blonde or brunette pureblood Ravenclaw female. Which is Mo, I don't have any brunettes that fit that description.

This movie actually wasn't as sad as I expected it to be. Especially considering it's the one where FRED DIES :( But I think they downplayed the deaths and focused on the happier things like Harry winning and Neville and Hermione/Ron. I was sad they didn't really SHOW Fred's death though. Or Percy coming back and redeeming himself. Oh and I loved the scene with Fred and George where George asked if Fred was alright.

Although I didn't like the whole Snape/Lily thing in the book, I really enjoyed it in the movie! Ickle!Lily was so cute!!! Snape being in love with her was sad, actually. Poor Snape :(

Oh! I also loved that the movie shipped Neville/Luna. I always wanted that in the books.

Voldermort and Draco's hug was the most awkward thing. I loved it. I also loved the Malfoy family as a whole in this movie. But I missed Crabbe in this movie. I have a soft spot for him now he's Frank's dead uncle. I know after the whole weed thing they dropped him from the movies but I didn't like them killing Goyle instead and I never really saw Zabini as the Malfoy Minion type.

Neville is awesome. As is professor McGonagall. Filch is hilarious! I almost missed the Ron/Hermione kiss because it was in a different spot and my friend was talking to me! I like Ginny/Harry but they still failed to convey it well. Which makes me sad. I enjoyed Ginny ignoring Ron and only greeting Harry though.

Oh! The things coming off the building to guard Hogwarts was also super cool. The knights in armour etc.

Did Lavender die in this movie?? The werewolf bit was gross and then Parvati and Professor T were covering up a body. So I assume she died.

I have to say, I didn't like them using the same actors for the 19 years older people. Because they just looked like kids trying to play dress ups, not almost 40 year old adults. I thought it looked kind of ridiculous. I've also always thought that Albus Serverus would end up in Gryffindor because he WOULD ask for it if he was that worried about Slytherin.

I think I had more to say but I don't really remember much, it was overwhelming! Something would happen and I'd forget things I'd wanted to comment on. oh, I loved Snape's speech about punishment for concealing Harry. Because he didn't actually really say he would punish them. and I was disappointed that we didn't get to see the Ravenclaw common room. Do we see it in the books? I don't remember, I blocked it all out after Fred died. But I still wanted to see it! And that's all I can remember. I'll probably think of more later or when I see it again but that's it for now.

Wiztech! has been open just over a week! So I thought I'd do a quick character round up because I'm not used to playing a ton of characters in one game and this seems like a good way to stay on top of things, or sort out what I need to do and what I want to do or something like that!

Evie: Didn't get updated. But it is fun to be playing her again! I'm glad I de-aged her though because imagining Evie as older and more mature is hard. She doesn't act her age though, because she's my age (at least, for a week but I am ignoring that because not being a teenager anymore is sort of scary)and most/all of my friends are more mature than Evie, imo. But Evie is pretty naive and lives in her own little world at all times and that's what I love about her. So far, my favourite thing has been her Willy Wonka conversations with Sam and Amanda. I like how she sees everything as positive, it's nice. I would really love some more characters from her year group, there's only two so far!

Constance: Did get updated! She's actually really fun, I'm enjoying having an anti-techology character. My favourite thing with her was definitely convincing Julian to throw Graham's tv overboard. Sorry Graham. I'm also looking forward to more family interactions with Isadora and Daniel and the cousins and stuff.

Blake: Also got updated! And got a show transcript. He still thinks his aliens mind controlling the guy and making him say he fell into the TV is the best and most plausible theory. and having so many 2023 characters means there's always plenty of interaction. Blake's easy to play so I don't really have much to say about him. I don't think I have a favourite moment though, nothing really stands out from this week. But I have enjoyed all his interactions!

Sophia: Sophia also got updated. Oh, not related but heaps of people I know know someone called Sophie Dixon and it's confusing/amusing to see her name pop up on facebook. Anyway! Back to Sophia. It is nice playing Sophia now she has TIME and a LIFE even if she sort of thinks she doesn't do enough. And I love how Sam is now always busy so their relationship has reversed. It should be interesting. I also still love her friendship with Edgar and am looking forward to her talking to Karen and Ben more. She should probably also make other friends now she has time but she's happy for the moment.

Lewis: I didn't do that much with Lewis. People should play more class of 2021 people! so far there are 4 and I think it would be a fun class! I want Lewis to talk Daniel and Molly more! So far in game he's only talked to Elliot. I enjoyed him giving Georgie marriage advice because he loves giving advice/thinks he is a marriage expert now that he is married. I also want him to talk to Charlie! Because family is important to him so he'd want to also be close to Bobby's family, even if she isn't.

Eamon: I did barely anything with Eamon. I need to work on this and play him more!! I don't really have much to say about him because of not playing him much. :(
