brontesaurusrex is a great username! My parents used to call me that when I was a kid (and still do occasionally, though more often it's Rex or Rexy) which I kind of never understood because brontosaurus and t-Rex are different things and you can't just add Rex to any dinosaur but recently I figured maybe it's because my middle name is Alexandra and Rex can be a nickname for Alexander. Anyway, good username.

Also, the apps are the best part of insanes.

So my computer finally actually broke (aside from the broken keyboard it's had the screen half coming off and wires poking out for a while now so I knew it wouldn't last much longer) and I don't have a new computer yet so aside from gamemaker I haven't been keeping up with my games (and only barely keeping up with that too). I should hopefully be getting my new computer soon but until then I still won't be around much at my other games.

I did see the Hunger Games yesterday though! and was almost late to them because I was replying to stuff at gamemaker.

I'd heard that the movie was bad if you'd read the books but I actually really enjoyed it. It was really great seeing all the capitol stuff and I loved little details like the capitol kids playing pretend hunger games. I never get dizzy in movies but at one point all the camera movement did get to me, I think it was during the fire scene, idr. But I loved the reaping scene and all the jealous gale scenes (though really, he should just be happy she's still alive rather than being jealous) and I thought haymitch was really great. I didn't like the new way katniss got her mockingjay pin, not just because I liked Madge but because I don't believe someone starving would offer to spend money on the pin and also it didn't exactly work to keep prim safe so that was stupid. also that it had to be secret, they are allowed tokens but in this obviously not. I also did not like the flashback scenes of peeta/katniss/bread and katniss' father's death and I didn't like that katniss didn't drug peeta to get the medicine because what if he'd woken up and tried to follow her with his injured leg? obviously they wouldn't let that happen but i still thought he should've been drugged. and just in general i wish they'd kept the cave scene more the same because it's one of the few parts of the books with a lot of dialogue so it was more useable than a lot of the book, you would think, but they changed/condensed the stories and left out stuff and I know you can't fit everything in but i think a lot of people would've liked that part of the book and wanted it more the same. But generally I was happy with the movie and how they made it work despite the problem of the book all being a first person narrative - I think all the added capitol stuff was what helped here.

However, you like your development and relationships to have some kind of overarching plot: you're not the type to enjoy a dressing room or any kind of roleplay where your character can't grow in at least a semi-structured manner. Copying corsair and talking about ships. I was going to to actual character tl;drs but talking about TV characters > character development. These are not all things I ship, I wanted to talk about reasons for NOT shipping things too. Only some shows because I got bored and I mostly only have thoughts on gossip girl.

Gossip Girl

Chair:

ngl, I used to ship Chair. In season 1 he was good for her, he was there for her when Nate wasn't. But then, even by the end of s1 he started to show how terrible he was. He blackmailed her for ages so she couldn't be happy with Nate, when she and Nate finally broke up he told her he didn't want her any more and when he finally wanted to be with her, he freaked out and slept with the first female he saw. Literally. When I think of cute Chair scenes (and there are a few) they are mostly ones where Blair is there for Chuck. No matter how badly he treats her, she is always there for him when he needs her. Why? Because she does love him, as much as she shouldn't, and she's good at showing that. Sh's also a really good friend. She's always there for Serena no matter how much of a bitch Serena is. Both Serena and Chuck take advantage of this. Most other scenes I used to think were cute I retrospectively dislike now. Such as the time Blair was feeling unsure of herself and Chuck was like "Just remember I'm Chuck Bass and I love you." That seemed sweet but really he's making her base her whole self worth on the fact that he loves her. Which was why it was so good when she was like "I can't be Chuck Bass' girlfriend until I've made it as Blair Waldorf" or something along those lines. But then she seemed to forget that and go back to wanting Chuck. I also do not understand how many goodbye scenes these two can have. They have the same scene EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE. it is repetitive and boring and I never want to see another one. I also hate how chuck claims to have changed but still goes after Dan for kissing Blair. I loved when Blair told him that changing isn't just being good to her. Chuck really just needs to grow up and move on. and this doesn't even cover all the other bad stuff he's done like sell her for a hotel and punch glass into her face etc. Because really they speak for themselves and should be enough to not ship Chair without all the other reasons too.

Blair/Louis:

I still don't understand the point of the ship. It was cute in the first episode where she found out he was a prince and she gave him her shoe etc. it should've ended there. But somehow he became a main character with more plot than Nate (not that that is hard) and the 100th episode revolved around one of his plotlines. Yes, it was also a Blair storyline and she's the main character but did anyone really care about the wedding? did anyone want them to get together? i just wanted the wedding to be over so we could get to the dairport episode. honestly, I was surprised they went through with the wedding and that she's actually married. But anyway, Louis soehow transformed from this sweet prince to this distrusting, paranoid, horrible person who wanted a PI to follow his fiance and who was happy to publicly humiliate her by outing a fake affair (if only it were real!) with Dan. and then he got worse and was like this a business deal, smile and look happy fr the cameras but I hate you and you are pretty much my property until I decide I don't want to be married to you anymore. he pretty much became a second chuck and just gdjgdgdgjd I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY LOUIS WAS AROUND FOR SO LONG. DID ANYONE LIKE HIM? DID ANYONE SHIP HIM AND BLAIR?

Dair:

In contrast to the last to ships, I think dair is perfect. they have had this huge, long, slow build up starting from s1 where his opinion on Blair was "She's best friends with this girl. Blair. Waldorf. Who is basically everything I hate about the upper east side distilled into one ninety-five pound, doe-eyed, bonmot-tossing, label-whoring package of girly evil." but even when he thought that, he was there for her when she was upset after Serena stole her spotlight for the millionth time. and then they'd always work together to try help serena or she would ask him for his advice on how to get chuck back and they weren't exactly friends but they were there for each other. and then you get to college where roles reversed and suddenly dan was the popular one and blair had no friends so he helped her out.

But the real change came in season 4, when they interned together. His biggest problem with Serena and the UES was always that she got whatever she wanted without having to work for it and he just sort of assumed Blair was like that too. but then he finds out that Blair actually got the internship off her own merit while he was the one who used his connection to Lily to get it. and then he sabotaged her because he thought she was going to sabotage her but then realised she kept her promise not to because she thought they were friends and blair treats her real friends well. and then along with this were all their movie dates and blair being HAPPY. even dorota thought she was too happy. I don't think there's any other time in gg where blair is that happy. her and dan just actually have something in common and blair is able to show off her intellectual side with him. but no matter what they're relationship, they never stopped having their witty banter and they always remained dan and blair, not changed by their new friendship, the way blair had to change for chuck and louis, or the way dan had to change or thought he had to change for serena. and it was through GETTING TO KNOW blair that he fell in love with her. he always loved serena just because she was pretty and she said hello to him once when no one else payed attention to him and honestly, the more he got to know serena the more their relationship fell apart. with blair it was slow and you could see how his attitude slowly changed and this made it more real and more interesting to watch.

what I love best about dair is that it is completely selfless love (most of the time). Dan has had feelings for her since late season 4 but he put these aside because she didn't need any more complications. Instead, he was there to hold her hand when chuck was with raina instead of her and he promised to always be there for her, even if no one else was and he supported her through the paternity test thing, all the while asking for nothing in return because he knew she just needed someone to be there. and then when blair wanted to be with chuck but was worried he wouldn't want her when she was pregnant with someone else's baby, he told her it wouldn't matter to him - and you know it wouldn't. He loved Milo as his own and I'm sure he still loves and misses Milo and I just really want Dan/Milo scenes. But instead of telling her he'd love her anyway, he went and set her back up with chuck because he thought that was what would make her happy, even though all he really wanted was to be with her himself. and there are just so many more examples of this and his love for her is written all over his face at all times (seriously, Penn is doing an amazing job at this. his face is one of my favourite parts of this ship) but he still does get frustrated at her for not being there for him. I liked in the one after the 100th that they had that fight and he finally was annoyed to her face about her not reading his book and not supporting her when he has done nothing but be there for her. and then she apologised, which is a big thing for her and told him she needed him, which everyone knew but I don't think it had ever been said before and finally she had given him some appreciation for what he had done. and then you get to the vday ep, where you finally start to see things from Blair's perspective and you see that it's not one sided. She cares about Dan's happiness too, all she wants is for Dan to be happy. So he kisses her. and finally she knows that dan likes her but of course, she can't really deal with it right now because of everything else but it's finally out there. and then next episode he finally tells her he can't be her friend anymore. because I imagine having to be there all the time for her and have ALL THOSE FEELINGS for her and not being able to do anything would hurt like crazy and finally he is speaking up about it because finally she knows how he feels and she doesn't need him as much anymore. and then FINALLY FINALLY she reads some of inside and sees how much dan loves her and how he has ALWAYS been there, even when he didn't like her and that he knows all her bad sides but loves her and even loves those things about herself that she hates and that makes her believe that only chuck could ever love her and that she doesn't deserve love from anyone except chuck. and their relationship is just so healthy, they have common interests, their relationship is not just about sex, they support each other and they really just want each other to be happy, no matter who that is with.

I know this pretty much just became a recount of dair moments but I think that shows their relationship well and this is super long now so I should just stop writing. basically, dair is perfect because it is healthy and prioritises happiness and they can be honest with each other and even their fights are adorable because they are not destructive fights and you know he'd never hurt her. the end. OH ACTUALLY NOT THE END because what I really wanted to say is that after all the chuck stuff blair became this person who was not the blair of earlier seasons and who was not longer such a strong character. her interactions with dan have brought the real blair back and allowed her to be herself again, which was one of the many reasons she broke up with chuck. blair should always be blair, not the weird version she is with chuck, and that is another reason why dair is perfect.

Nate:

Nate has become a problem on the show as all he does is sleep with everyone and yet somehow manages to not have chemistry with any of them. The only person I've really shipped Nate with is Blair, but while I like Blair for him, I don't like him for Blair. Currently I like both Ivy/Charlie and Lola for him. Mainly because they both turned him down at some point. But now that Lola is all like "can I stay at your place" I no longer really like it because I don't understand how she went from lol no, not happening to sleepovers with nate in the space of half an episode. but what i really wanted to say about nate is that aside from parents, I think the only girl he hasn't dated is georgina, which is sad because the only reason georgina is in the books is because of nate - he meets her at rehab, she's a drug addict who sold her show pony of more cocaine and of course, being nate, he starts dating her. despite being with blair. who then checks herself into rehab just to get to spend time with nate. it's hilarious. that would be a better plot than anything nate has had lately.

Pretty Little Liars

Haleb:

Haleb is my otp of this show, I think they are adorable and perfect and just really great for each other. I hate how Spencer keeps involving Caleb in things because she's done so much to keep Toby safe but when it's someone else's boyfriend she just doesn't care. I do love spencer but lately I've found her really hypocritical and judgmental. Not everyone is as rich, smart and pretty as you spencer, okay? you're a great character but please stop hurting other people for your own gain just because you think what you're doing is more important than everything else. and stop acting like you have moral high ground. you stole two of your sister's boyfriends/fiances and pawned her wedding ring to buy a car for your boyfriend. but anyway, that's not really about haleb anymore but basically I dnw anything bad to happen to haleb but I do like caleb's new friendships with the other girls.

Wrencer:

I know it's wrong but I can't help liking it. his accent makes me forgive any sleaziness. but he and spencer are just more intellectually suited than spoby and knows what her crazy family is like and he understands it and is good for her. but then I love spoby so idk anymore.

Ezria:

THIS SHIP NEEDS TO GO AWAY. i hate it so much. it is so inappropriate and they make each other so annoying. who turns down a job opportunity for a 16 year old girl who used to be your student? WHY IS ELLA SUDDENlY SUPPORTING THIS SHIP????? WHY DID EZRA THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO TELL THE PARENTS?? I don't think ezra acts like a proper grown up, whereas Aria tries too hard to be mature. I want Ezra to either leave town or, stay because I love Ian Harding, and date either Ella (i know that's wrong too but I can't help but ship it) or Melissa because Melissa is awesome and more your age. Aria can date Noel because Noel is the most awesome and she used to have a huge crush on him and he's age appropriate and Jason and Ezra are both too old for her. and HOW MANY KISSES IN THE RAIN DO THE NEED? and do not hold up traffic just to kiss and stop kissing while driving, you will end up dead. this ship is just so wrong and so unenjoyable to watch and I don't know why the writer/producer/whatever she is ships it so much. or why it is being sold as normal and okay WHEN IT IS CLEARLY NOT. I even looked up the Pennsylvania state laws to check and it is most definitely illegal.

Lying Games

I just wish all the guys ~~were more attractive~~ would stop switching between Sutton and Emma. I loved Thayer/Sutton but now he seems more interested in Emma which I don't understand because he's meant to be in love with Sutton. though I kind of did like Sutton and Ethan away at the ranch. I actually love Sutton, she's more interesting than Emma and I don't understand how Ethan and Emma are so in love after such a short period of time. But I am super glad that Laurel is no longer with Justin. band guy is way less creepy.

I just want to say how much I hate Lannie. Mainly because I hate Annie and love Liam and always shipped Liomi but also they are just annoying. even girl who ran him over/Liam was more interesting, although now I don't like her anymore. I actually ship Naomi/Austin more than Liomi now, I think, although I would be happy with either. I just hope Max never comes back because I hated them together.

Joshua Tofty

okay, i haven't really written anything for this app yet but the basic idea is that Joshua used to be an actor on radio soaps etc, well known for his ability to do a large range of voices/impressions, but through a series of events started getting less roles until he eventually decided to quit acting. Then he decided he wanted to be a teacher because his dad would actually approve of that and so he did all the kwikschool history courses since that was his best subject in school and then took over the owl HoM/ancient history teaching last year. He likes to use his acting skills to reenact historical events, which he thinks makes his classes more fun but he is also very easy to get off topic and will impersonate anyone his students ask him to do, historical or not. He favours students who recognise him/know of his work and enjoys mocking other teachers and his students by impersonating them too.

Possible relationships:

he has two siblings! currently they are both older but their ages can be changed, as can their names. so if you need a last name you can be a Tofty!
he has an ex fiancee! i imagine he sort of sabotaged the relationship himself/ended it when his acting career started being less successful. any sort of interaction here would be interesting, i think.

various tl;drs that i am finally posting. mainly for elevator characters + a couple of others. might also do ball thoughts for some characters in comments but i just want to get this POSTED because i've had it sitting around for ages

CURT

Curtis is so selfish omg and it's so frustrating. everything ever has to be about him. But although he hated it, I think getting stuck in a lift with Rachel and Rosie was good for him because even though he still won't admit it, at least now he's been told that he wasn't completely blameless in the relationship not working out, instead of just assuming it was all Rachel's fault. And I think he got to say some stuff that he needed to say. I felt bad for Rosie though because he practically ignored her existance until he wanted her to agree with him and he was so hypocritical when he was talking about Rachel being insensitive because he was being more isensitive to Rosie than Rachel was to him. But I guess Curt always thinks of himself as the victim and doesn't consider other peoples feelings. Like even when he talked to CC and Sasha. He really should apologise to Sasha but Curt doesn't really do apologising. He was also kind of insensitive when he went to see Scarlett and was like Rachel told me she loves someone else even though she knows I love her. Because he pretty much did the exact same thing to Scarlett. It annoys me how bad a friend Curt can be, because his friendship with Scarlett is based around what he wants and he never considers what other people want and although he cared about Scarlett, he cares about himself more. I think the only way Curt will actually get over Rachel is if he starts dating someone else (not because he can't get over her but because he chooses not to) but he can't date anyone else because then he compares them to Rachel and he talks about Rachel all the time and it'll be like Rosie all over again. I think what he needs is to become friends with someone who doesn't really know him or his friends so he can slowly become friends with them and through that start to like them without meaning to or something. Because really, when Curtis is cheerful, he's not that bad. He's just been in a bad mood for a long time now. It'd be good if the new friend worked in his office too so maybe then he'd stay in his office and actually WORK at work and become less dependent on Scarlett and stuff. It'd be good for him. Oh, and i loved how he just expected to be rescued immedietly when he mentioned his name and when that didn't work he actually called Edgar and was like make them get me out. He expects being the ministers son to solve all his problems (except his problems with Rachel) and it kind of surprises him when it doesn't. idk, I love Curtis but he really does need to grow up and learn to cope with his own problems instead of expecting other people to solve them or sulking over them and being moody forever.

CARA

With Cara in the lift I liked that she figured out that CC and Rowan had broken up. Because Cara is smart and while a lot of the time she makes stuff up or just eavesdrops to get information she can also be observant. Yes she made up that cc liked rowan in the first place but she thinks just because she's made something up doesn't make it any less true, sometimes. other times she knows the stuff she's made up is ridiculous and not true. especially since she's happy to makes stuff up about herself when there's not enough gossip, just to keep herself amused. but she's happy to make stuff up and spread it about herself, she prefers that over people knowing real things about herself. When it comes down to it, Cara is pretty secretive about herself. Yes, everyone knows she liked Micah and she didn't really care as long as he didn't know but there’s also a lot about cara that she doesn’t really talk about and sure, that’s somewhat to do with her not really having anyone to talk to but i think it’s more to do with her not wanting to share everything about herself, because otherwise she would just let everyone know. but anyway, i love how much of a ravenclaw cara really is, because she loves figuring out things and she loves knowing things. it’s just that it’s not useful knowledge she likes, but information about people. I also like that despite the fact that cara pretty much compulsively lies, she actually makes an effort not to lie to micah. she’s not completely honest with him and she’s definitely not going to tell him she’s sleeping with xander and she had no problem lying about that when asked, but instead of pretending she was seeing someone she said that she was just sleeping with someone. Which is progress for cara, considering the whole fake dating hayden to make micah jealous thing. i think she promised micah she wouldn’t lie to him anymore, ages ago, and despite breaking up with him, she does actually try to not lie to him, which takes a lot more effort than lying does, to her. she did get annoyed when he called her insecure though because although she’ll deny it, she knows she’s insecure and it’s not something she likes about herself because she likes to think she doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her but she knows it isn’t true and she knows why it isn’t true but she’s not about to tell micah that, especially while trapped in an elevator with a bunch of people she doesn’t even really like. and i don’t really know why suddenly she cared about cc and rowan and thought they should get back together but i think it’s because despite liking it when people break up etc from the point of view of having something to gossip about, she is kind of a romantic (which i blame mer and her romance novels for) and i think really it was her projecting her own hope that people can still work things out after breaking up rather than her actually caring about rowan and cc’s happiness. also, and this ties in with cara’s need to know everything and doesn’t really have anything to do with elevators, but cara seems to have a type. at first I was like it’s guys who don’t actually want to be in a relationship/long term relationship but that didn’t make sense because cara really only does proper relationships (with the exception of xander and to an extent, rowan since she didn’t actually like him) so she wouldn’t purposely seek out people who don’t want this. but micah, rowan and xander are all people who aren’t very open and don’t talk about themselves/are kind of secretive. which would attract cara because she loves the idea of finding out stuff about people that other people don’t know, even if she doesn’t get to tell anyone (like, the little stuff micah actually told her she wouldn’t tell anyone but she loves knowing). and then, because of this I don’t know if she likes micah because she wants to know more about him or she wants to know more about him because she likes him. I guess it’s both, really.

cara cares way too much about micah’s opinion of her. while mostly she doesn’t really care if people hate her because she hates most of them too with micah she’s always cared. like that time she sent him that flown message asking him if he thought she was a crazy bitch. So micah saying she is/dating her was pointless really hurt her. But then she got over it once he admitted that he still likes her and thinks he’s great. That makes her really happy. But it also makes her expect him to do something about it and to stop fighting with her all the time (even if she provokes him pretty much all the time) and she thinks that if he’s not doing anything about it then he can’t have an opinion on her shagging other people (but she’s allowed to care that he is and be mean to people she thinks he’s shagging even if he’s not really). At the same time, she kind of likes it when her sleeping with someone else is brought up because although this time it’s not about making him jealous, like it was when she fake dated hayden (sleeping with xander was never something cara did to make micah jealous, to her it was just a bonus that it did and that it made him ask her out) if it does make him jealous then that’s great too. but she can never tell if he is actually jealous or if it’s just her reading too much into things/wishful thinking.

GARETH

I don't really have much to say about Gareth, I just didn't want to leave him out. Gareth doesn't mind that Micah's trying to set him up with CC and he'd happily go on a date with her, he just isn't really into being social and therefore doesn't feel like dating. He's glad Julia was stuck in the lift too because otherwise all the people from his office would've driven him crazy and he thinks his dress sense is fine! and that's pretty much it. Gareth is boring.

gareth thinks he’s been very social lately and he kind of just wants to go back to being antisocial. he likes sleeping with elle and he thinks it’ll be nice to catch up with stella but both together plus having to go on a date thanks to the auction which he did not want to be a part of is kind of just too much socialization for him and he just wants to not be social again for a while. so idk how he’s going to cope with casually seeing both elle and stella (actually, I just realized their names are kinda similar. he should mix them up at some point) so that’ll be interesting and hopefully help him be more social. or make him want to be even less social. we’ll see.

ROWAN

Rowan has no idea what to do in relationships when he actually likes the person he's dating. He's so used to not caring about the other person and not caring about break ups that he assumes that CC breaking up with him is final and there's nothing he can do to change that and so she should move on and find someone else, which is why he didn't mind Micah trying to set her up with Gareth and didn't like Cara trying to get him and CC back together. He wants CC to be happy because he does care about her, which is why he wanted her to stop seeing Jackson and why he tried to set her up with Brady. Telling CC she should date someone else and him being fine with them breaking up is his way of showing that he cares about her. He doesn't really understand that a better way of showing he cared would be to say he'd attempt a longer term relationship because he doesn't really want to break up with her. So he'll probably just continue to encourage her to date other people when they run into each other.

Rowan didn't realise how much he likes/missed cc until they got back together. he's still not really into the long term thing but he figures he may as well try it because after the night with drunk jackson he realised that even though he'd only said he'd consider trying a relationship again, he didn't think of himself as single anymore and just accepted it when the office was like "aren't you pretty much dating cc anyway?". and since he pretty much felt like he was already back in a relationship with her, there was no reason to not be in a relationship with her. so he's actually pretty happy right now, as long as future talk is kept to a minimum.

JACKSON

Jackson's problem is that he has no idea what he wants and so he refuses to make any sort of decision in case he changes his mind or makes the wrong choice. I think he thinks too far into the future instead of making a decision for what he wants now. But he won't admit that he has no idea what he wants because he prides himself on the fact that he has always known what he wants and has always done stuff to get what he wants. That's career wise though, and I think he's always been more focused on that and so has never really thought about what he wants relationship wise and so now just says he doesn't want anything because it's easier and with CC liking him and them flirting and her breaking up with Rowan and running into Freya he's just even more confused and so he keeps pushing the idea of having a relationship further and further back so that he doesn't have to deal with it. He figures that in a few years he will know what he wants and so he's not thinking about it until then and if by then he still doesn't know, he'll make up some new excuse not to date. Which isn't exactly a good way to deal with things but it's what he does anyway. He does miss having cc as a friend but the band has always been his main priority and therefore not upsetting jesse is currently more important than being friends with cc (he just forgets this sometimes so it's good he has stella to point it out). he hopes they can be friends again soon but when sober he gets that space is a good idea.

so obviously since I wrote that Jackson and cc are friends again and he’s glad because he does need her as a friend because she’s the person he actually talks to about stuff and I’m glad he actually apologized for how he’d been treating her and he is glad that cc is happy even though he doesn’t like rowan because to him rowan’s the guy who would always call cc and ask her to do ridiculous things and interrupt him and cc and who drove cc crazy so he doesn’t really understand the relationship and I think he misses having cc as kind of a fall back girlfriend. Like, he never really planned on dating her and he didn’t want to lead her on, which is why he ended the fwb but he did like knowing she liked him and wanted him which is why he always ended up kissing/wanting to kiss her. but anyway, I think their friendship is good right now and he doesn’t plan to hit on/flirt with her again (not that he ever really planned it, it just happened) because he’s realized that he needs her around as a friend more than he needs her around as someone who makes him feel good about himself because she likes him.

JD

I like that JD just doesn't see an issue with obliviating people. Since both his parents are obliviators and he's never had to do the ethics stuff related to being one, I don't think he even thinks about how it might not be the most ethical thing to do or how it could affect the people being obliviated. He's just like we can have your memories taken away and that's fine and will solve all the problems. But thinking that Summer's going to be obliviated will change that because he doesn't want her to forget him. So that'll be interesting! He also doesn't like it when other hit wizards have to look after her, even though he understands that he needs a break, because he doesn't want her to end up liking any of them better and he also doesn't want her to be bored while she's in the wizarding world. He thinks of her more as a friend than as the muggle he has to look after and so wants to introduce her to all his friends and do lots of fun stuff with her, even though he knows it's just more that she won't rememember.

so obviously jd really likes summer and is super glad she doesn’t have to be obliviated anymore. but he says that doesn’t mean he’s suddenly like lewis and thinks everyone should start dating. instead he thinks that summer is just special and doesn’t agree with theories that it’s just because they spent a lot of time together. so he’s actually glad that someone got murdered and he got to meet summer because of that, even though he knows he really shouldn’t be happy that someone got murdered. anyway, he’s really enjoying the whole having a girlfriend thing so far (aside from having to have supervision on dates) and he loved getting to introduce summer to his parents and telling frankie he was dating and he’s looking forward to when he actually gets to meet summer’s friends and family. I don’t think he ever expected to like dating because to him most couples seem boring. he’s also having fun with the whole summer is a veela thing but he tends to forget that Rufus is only pretending to like summer and actually gets defensive. jd also hates not being the one who looks after summer anymore and while he was the one who stepped down from the case, he thinks he should be able to look after summer anyway because he’s still a fully trained hit wizard and he’s most likely to want to keep her safe. rationally, he knows It wouldn’t be smart to be on a case that he’s emotionally invested in but he ignores that rationality most of the time because looking after summer was pretty much the most fun case ever and he misses it.

ATTICUS

Atticus is ridiculous. he’s sort of like cara in the way he likes making up stories and stuff but at least when cara makes stuff up she knows a lot of it isn’t true and just pretends it is whereas Atticus makes stuff up and then actually starts believing everything he says is true. He’s 100% convinced that Summer is a veela and even if the other hit wizards weren’t pretending she was also he would still believe it. so now he’s just kind of scared of summer (after all this a veela will probably end up being his boggart) because he hates the idea of being forced to love someone just because they’re a veela. i guess he’d hate love potions too if he ever thought about it (which he shouldn’t. he’ll come up with a theory about them too otherwise). anyway, not much to say here, just that atticus is crazy but it’s fun.

RORY

Rory was a lot more hurt by CC not listening to him and going out to see Jackson than he said because once cc came and apologised he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it because while he loves fake fighting with cc, he hates real fighting with her so when she was like you were right, sorry he was happy to just say it was fine and move on. but it hurt because he was just looking out for her but she chose Jackson anyway, who, in rory’s opinion, has never really acted like he cares about cc in the slightest and who just kept hurting her. and he knows she has to make her own decisions and whatever but he still just wishes she’d listen to him sometimes or at least not get annoyed at him when all he’s trying to do is prevent her from getting hurt. he has forgiven her but he does still feel a little hurt. i think with her being back with rowan and then going away they probably haven’t seen each other that much lately so he just doesn’t feel like things are completely back to normal, but he’ll act like they are anyway.
