Day Fourteen: Tell us about a character relationship that surprised you.

Friendship wise:

Sylvie and Mo! They were friends as MW but it wasn't until MD that they became best friends and it was unplanned, somehow their friendship just became best frienship. And it works because they're so different that they balance each other out. Or something. idk. Plus they're the best party planners ever, obviously.

Edgar and Sophia! Because neither have all that many friends (sure, Sophia talks to lots of people but most of them aren't really like proper friends who she trusts/spends time with) and they just get along well and I like their friendship.

Blaise and Mo! Because he finds being mean to people fun whereas Mo likes being nice to people and yet they got on well most of the time and that wasn't expected.

Michael and Brooke! Because Brooke doesn't like that many people but apparently being a funny drunk is enough reason to be friends with someone? idk, I don't get Brooke. But I never expected her and Michael to get on that well.

Ship Wise:

David and Bex! He was very for rules and anti drama and people who caused drama and she enjoyed causing drama and breaking rules for the sake of it. I didn't even expect them to get on as friends, let alone start dating.

Sophia and Sam! Just because it was unexpected! idk, I don't really have any explanation for this. It kind of just happened suddenly and that was surprising.

Day Thirteen: Tell us about a character who surprised you.

Lots of characters have surprised me in lots of different ways! That's part of what makes characters so fun to play. But, for specific examples, I'm going to use both my BNW characters.

Evie surprised me in how easy and fun she was to play. I applied for her and Brooke at the same time and Brooke's app was so much easier to write and came to me much quicker. But then when I started playing, Evie was so loud and easy to play and that was so great because sometimes it can take a while to get used to new characters. She also surprised me with how pro-muggle she was. She was actually kind of antipureblood and that was interesting. Like she was just mean to anyone who was anti muggle immedietly and without being provoked, despite the fact she was otherwise REALLY friendly. She also surprised me with her reactions to Naoko's secret journal leaking. She was really insulted but as soon as Naoko apologised, she was over it and it made me realise how forgiving and quick to get over things she was. Also, she suddenly got on with Higgs in that entry and that was surprising. Anyway, I could talk about Evie forever so I'll stop now.

I talked about Brooke surprising me here. Her ability to be a good friend also surprised me. She may not actually like or talk to many people, but if you do manage to befriend her she is such a good friend and I didn't expect that. Also, her reaction to blood and stuff surprses me. I wrote into her profile that she was squirmish and couldn't deal with blood, but she actually feels sick if it's even just talked about. Even at games that don't involve her, like when Sam said halloween costumes were meant to be bloody and gory at TS she was disguisted and that's weird for me because blood has never bothered me so it's weird to experience that reaction.

Just a quick note to say I'll be away from tomorrow until Sunday and then I go back to uni on monday ( :( although my timetable somehow went down from the 22 hours it was last semester to 19 this semester and I actually have days off this time so I shouldn't complain) so I might be around less. Well, I won't be around at all while I'm away because I won't have internet access and I doubt there's many free wireless spots in Darwin.

RP wise I really loved Gwen's post about heads! It was super interesting and I think Jillian is great for working all that out! Sophia is now convinced she has no chance of getting head girl just because she's a muggleborn. And I really need to do more with Frank. I also need to do more at BNF in general. I shall have to work on that when I get back!

I might have found an older Brooke PB! I was (and still am) considering still using Sara Paxton and just picking icons in which she looks older (she's 22 irl but I figure she could probably pass for 25ish) but now I'm thinking maybe Spencer Grammer. She has some similar expressions to Sara Paxton but is 26 irl so is more age appropriate. Still undecided though so again, if anyone has any thoughts/opinions it would be appreciated! Thanks :)

Randomly, I really love the Get Him to the Greek Soundtrack, it's hilarious. Can't wait for the movie!!!!

crackers asked for Top Five PBs. So these are probably my favourite PBs that I've used (idk, I'm bad with decision making about favourites!). Somehow they all ended up female which does not impress my male characters. Well, the ones who care about this sort of thing anyway. But I do also love my male PBs, they just didn't make top 5.

I FINISHED RPWRIMO! For a while I wasn't sure that I would but it's just after 11pm on the 30th and I just got to 30 005 words. So I'm very happy!
